Como bien representa el título del blog, la temática de éste trata sobre films y documentales que reflejan la etapa contemporánea, centrándonos en un período concreto que abarca desde la Revolución Francesa (1789) hasta los principios de la II Guerra Mundial (1939).
Con esta materia a trabajar lo que pretendemos es reconciliar el concepto de “historia”, no muy bien acogido por una parte del público, y el de cine, uno de los referentes del ocio por excelencia y más bien reconocido como el Séptimo Arte.
Hay que tener en cuenta las grandes aportaciones que hace la historia en numerosas películas que acaban convirtiéndose en éxitos gracias, en parte, a su contexto y en parte al relato, pues sin un marco de fondo todo quedaría desenlazado e inconexo. Es decir, las películas históricas o ambientadas en un marco histórico van desde simples recreaciones cinematográficas de la biografía de algún personaje histórico, a adaptaciones de obras literarias (novelas…).
De este modo deseamos obsequiar con un nuevo punto de vista -apoyado en el Séptimo Arte- sobre la historia a aquellos cinéfilos y a los que no lo son también, dando a entender que cualquier contexto histórico puede ser un perfecto escenario o un simple marco de ambientación a un relato o argumento cualquiera de temáticas diversas como las de aventuras, de suspense, de amor, de tragedia…O por el contrario hacen de la historia la narración central de un acontecimiento histórico de mayor o menor importancia. Es por ello que el cine que elige la historia como contexto al argumento o como protagonista puede (o no) ganar un inmenso valor como recurso divulgativo o didáctico para comprender la época ilustrada en sus imágenes, en cualquier caso tiene muchas probabilidades de ser así.
También hay que tener en cuenta la aportación que se hace con los documentales, reforzando así la imagen de la historia contemporánea en la actualidad desde otras perspectivas y teniendo en el foco del objetivo diferentes espacios geográficos para abarcar una imagen más global de lo sucedido en el planeta que habitamos durante el espacio temporal indicado anteriormente.

Since good represents the title of the blog, the subject matter of this one treats on films and documentaries that reflect the contemporary stage, centring in a concrete period that it includes from the French Revolution (1789) until the beginning of the World War II (1939).
With this matter to working what we claim is to reconcile the concept of “history”, not very well received on one hand of the public, and that of cinema, one of the modals of the leisure excellent and rather recognized as the Seventh Art.
It is necessary to bear in mind the big contributions that the history does in numerous movies that finish turning into successes thank you, partly, to his context and partly to the statement, since without a frame of bottom everything would remain unravelled and unconnected. That is to say, the movies historical or set in a historical frame go from simple cinematographic recreations of the biography of some historical personage, to adjustments of literary works (novels …).
Thus we want to give a new point of view – supported on the Seventh Art – on the history those movie fans and to those who it are not also, giving to understand that any historical context can be a perfect scene or a simple frame of setting to a statement or I argue any of diverse subject matters as those of adventures, of suspense, of love, of tragedy … Or on the contrary they do of the history the central story of a historical event of major or minor importance. It is for it that the cinema that chooses the history as context to the argument or as protagonist it can (or not) to gain an immense value as divulgative or didactic resource to understand the epoch illustrated in his images, in any case has a lot of probabilities of being like that.
Also it is necessary to bear in mind the contribution that is done by the documentaries, reinforcing this way the image of the contemporary history at present from other perspectives and having in the area of the aim different geographical spaces to include a more global image of the happened in the planet that we live during the temporary space indicated previously.
