Conferencia el 11 de mayo en el Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El viernes 11 de mayo de 2018, a las 12:00 y con motivo del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diadelaluz.es\">D\u00eda Internacional de la Luz<\/a>, impartir\u00e9 la conferencia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.diadelaluz.es\/43-James-Clerk-Maxwell.-El-hombre-que-cambi\u00f3-el-mundo-para-siempre\">&#8220;Maxwell y la teor\u00eda electromagn\u00e9tica de la luz&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0en el <a href=\"http:\/\/dipc.ehu.es\"><strong>Donostia Internacional Physics Center<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(DIPC), en San Sebasti\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/fisicateleco\/2015\/06\/maxwell\/\">James Clerk Maxwell<\/a> es uno de los cient\u00edficos m\u00e1s importantes de la historia de la ciencia y sin embargo es bastante desconocido para el gran p\u00fablico. En 1865 ve la luz el art\u00edculo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jstor.org\/stable\/108892?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents\">&#8220;A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field&#8221;<\/a> que contiene las ecuaciones de Maxwell, la predicci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica de la existencia de las ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas y la teor\u00eda electromagn\u00e9tica de la luz. Tomando como punto de partida este trabajo, se hace un recorrido a trav\u00e9s de la vida y la ciencia de Maxwell, y se concluye con la &#8216;s\u00edntesis maxwelliana&#8217; -de tanta importancia como lo fue en su d\u00eda la &#8216;s\u00edntesis newtoniana&#8217; de la f\u00edsica de la tierra y la f\u00edsica de los cielos-, que no s\u00f3lo permiti\u00f3 unificar luz, electricidad y magnetismo, sino desarrollar la teor\u00eda de las ondas electromagn\u00e9ticas, incluida la luz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.diadelaluz.es\/images\/54.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El viernes 11 de mayo de 2018, a las 12:00 y con motivo del D\u00eda Internacional de la Luz, impartir\u00e9 la conferencia &#8220;Maxwell y la teor\u00eda electromagn\u00e9tica de la luz&#8221;\u00a0en el Donostia Internacional Physics Center\u00a0(DIPC), en San Sebasti\u00e1n.
