La import\u00e0ncia \u00e9s deguda a la <strong>interacci\u00f3<\/strong> d&#8217;aquesta<strong> radiaci\u00f3 solar<\/strong> amb els<strong> sat\u00e8l\u00b7lits de comunicacions<\/strong> (GPS, m\u00f2bils, estaci\u00f3 espacial internacional, telescopis espacials, etc.) que pot afectar al funcionament de la tecnologia utilitzada. Gr\u00e0cies al camp magn\u00e8tic terrestre estem protegits de les part\u00edcules m\u00e9s energ\u00e8tiques que, d&#8217;aquesta manera, no arriben a la superf\u00edcie terrestre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">De fet, la <strong>Ag\u00e8ncia Espacial Europea<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.esa.int\/export\/esaSC\/index.html\">ESA<\/a> en l&#8217;acr\u00f2nim angl\u00e9s) desenvolupa la missi\u00f3 espacial <a href=\"http:\/\/sci.esa.int\/science-e\/www\/area\/index.cfm?fareaid=45\"><strong>Solar Orbiter<\/strong><\/a> que t\u00e9 previst llan\u00e7ar durant l&#8217;any 2017. Aquest satel\u00b7lit arribar\u00e0 <strong>m\u00e9s a prop que mai<\/strong> del Sol i permetr\u00e0 l&#8217;estudi dels pols solars aix\u00ed com entendre el camp magn\u00e8tic solar.
