S\u00f3lo por la m\u00fasica y la fotograf\u00eda (paisajes filmados en la ciudad de Gui Lin y la aldea de Mei-tan-fu, de la provincia de Guangxi) merece la pena. Sobre el argumento (basado en la novela de <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Somerset_Maugham\">William Somerset Maugham<\/a>)<span> <\/span><span> <\/span>y los personajes (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001570\/\">Edward Norton<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Naomi_Watts\">Naomi Watts<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1020089\/\">Sally Hawkins<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0429363\/\">Toby Jones<\/a>) puede haber opiniones divergentes. A mi parecer hacen una muy buena interpretaci\u00f3n sobre un tema a\u00fan muy actual. De la traducci\u00f3n del t\u00edtulo me quedan dudas. Seg\u00fan el Gran Diccionario Oxford <strong>to draw a veil over something<span style=\"color: #0000a0\"> <\/span><\/strong><span>se traduce por <\/span>correr o echar un (tupido) velo sobre algo. Pienso que en el desenlace, cuando van a ver al abuelo, <span> <\/span>as\u00ed como en el comienzo de la cinta, con esa niebla y esas flores. Tanto ella como \u00e9l dibujan-pintan-corren un tupido velo sobre acontecimientos previos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 15pt;text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 15pt;text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 15pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Otras interpretaciones de la traducci\u00f3n del t\u00edtulo remiten a un poema.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">The title is a reference to the Shelley sonnet &#8216;Lift not the painted veil which those who live.&#8217; The entirety of this sonnet is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Lift not the painted veil which those who live Call Life: though unreal shapes be pictures there, And it but mimic all we would believe With colours idly spread, &#8212; behind, lurk Fear And Hope, twin Destinies; who ever weave Their shadows, o&#8217;er the chasm, sightless and drear.
