Tambi\u00e9n es muy feroz y amenaza a surfistas y a ba\u00f1istas en aguas m\u00e1s fr\u00edas como las de Sydney. Desgraciadamente, hace unos d\u00edas muri\u00f3 una persona haciendo snorkel en Perth por culpa de un gran blanco y la sicosis se ha generalizado. Se han producido varias falsas alarmas en Bondi Beach y en Manly, con sirenas inclu\u00eddas, que desalojan la playa.
