Visual Health Surveillance includes some inter and multi-disciplinary issues about prevention of occupational risk & hazards, their international standards and normatives from a visual viewpoint, principles of design and development of occupational visual requirements, or monitoring of a visual health prevention program, where it is interesting to take into account the initial relevance of using specific questionnaires for detecting and evaluating visual prevalence, and select the best option for measuring the visual functions involved in specific tasks and occupations for reaching the maximum visual performance, both using vision screeners or optometric practice.
After this lesson, I have proposed the second task to be evaluated in this course.
- Relative Weight: 5 %
- Delivery process by course blog, deadline for 2 weeks.
- Individual Task
- Search visual ergonomics standards or normatives using CEN, INSHT or AENOR websites;
- Propose one, but different from the rest of examples provided for other students (even in the last academic year you can see below). Justify why you choose it and its interest for this lesson or the rest of this subject.
