{"id":66,"date":"2019-07-26T07:25:37","date_gmt":"2019-07-26T07:25:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/westerntethys\/?p=66"},"modified":"2019-07-26T10:01:56","modified_gmt":"2019-07-26T10:01:56","slug":"daniel-jimenez-de-cisneros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/westerntethys\/2019\/07\/26\/daniel-jimenez-de-cisneros\/","title":{"rendered":"Daniel Jimenez de Cisneros"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next September the village of Crevillente will be organised a summer course inside the offer of the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University summer course entitled \u201cJimenez de Cisneros, pioneer in the geological and paleontological investigation in the Southern Alicante\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-71 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/westerntethys\/files\/2019\/07\/jimenez-de-cisneros.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"337\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/westerntethys\/files\/2019\/07\/jimenez-de-cisneros.png 337w, https:\/\/blogs.ua.es\/westerntethys\/files\/2019\/07\/jimenez-de-cisneros-247x300.png 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 337px) 100vw, 337px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Presentation<\/p>\n<p>This year marks the centenary of Daniel Jim\u00e9nez de Cisneros, Professor of Natural History, publication in the \u201cIberia&#8221; journal, of the first geological and paleontological synthesis of the Crevillente Sierra.<br \/>\nDaniel Jim\u00e9nez de Cisneros made what could be the first and oldest photographs of the Crevillente Sierra, an exceptional graphic testimony that allows us to see what the landscape of this mountain was like 100 years ago.
